Land is the ultimate legacy.

We love nature.

Here at the Land Trust, we’re pretty passionate about the landscapes and species of the North State, and protecting this natural legacy for future generations. We want to introduce others to the wonders of the world around us through immersive educational experiences, and stoke their passion to manage and protect working and wild lands.

Field Trips

Get out into the wild with our knowledgeable staff or consulting biologists, and let them open your eyes to the natural history and rich biological diversity of our region. Our field trips are open to all ages, but can also be developed for specific audiences by request.

Educational Events

Throughout the year, you’ll find us hosting or participating in a number of community events highlighting the seasonal beauty, local agricultural bounty, and amazing ecology of the North State. Check our calendar of events for details, and join us out there!

Resources for Educators

As humans, we protect what we value. Environmental education is critical to nurturing aware, responsible citizens and leaders of the future. We work to provide free resources that teachers and parents can weave into elementary science curricula or unstructured playtime.

Support the next generation of land stewards.

You can accelerate our efforts to equip local science teachers with free resources on the natural history and ecology of our region, and to provide immersive outdoor experiences to groups of all ages. Help us nurture the farmers, ranchers, and natural resource conservationists of the future.
