Project Application Form

The Application Process

This application is the first step into Northern California Regional Land Trust (NCRLT) evaluating your property as a prospective project.

Please answer questions to the fullest degree appropriate. To enable staff to spend time determining eligibility, an application fee will be invoiced to your email for $250. Once the fee has been paid, NCRLT staff will prepare materials and present the project to our volunteer Lands Committee to determine if the property meets key eligibility qualifications to move forward. If the property does, NCRLT will be back in touch with you to schedule a site visit, request additional information, and answer questions that you may have.

This 2nd phase prospective project review requires an additional $250 fee-for-service that guarantees the landowner a Conservation Report detailing NCRLT's findings on the property's conservation values and opportunities for preservation. Prospective projects that are recommended by our Lands Committee and approved by our Board of Directors can become active prospective projects with NCRLT under a signed contract.

Expect the eligibility check to take one month, the 2nd phase an additional month, and a possible project start a month after.
